Differences Between Vitamin Supplements - Weight Loss Nutrition

In order to maintain proper health one needs to have the right types of foods. This can only come in the form of a balanced diet that does without junk food. Vitamin E:
Vitamin E is also another vitamin that is available in the form of tablets. It is known to reduce heart attack risks. In addition to this, it is an anti-oxidant and therefore is believed to prevent cancer. Some supplements may consist of vitamin C, E, and beta carotene.

This is because it is thought these all work together in order to combat cancer, as they are all anti-oxidants.
In addition to these vitamin supplements, there are others. There are supplements that are an arrangement of vitamins as well. This refers to the fact that Vitamin B supplements mainly consist of B components (B6, B12, etc.).

Each of the B components has certain functions, and all of them together generally work to combat diseases. Aside from this supplement, Vitamin C is another important vitamin. It makes one's bones and teeth stronger, and this is the reason why it is sometimes available in supplements that are of calcium, as they both work on protecting bones and teeth aside from other functions that they may have.

Vitamin A:
Vitamin A has many functions as well, and supplements consisting of Vitamin A and D are common. These vitamins are also available together in particular food substances.

In addition vitamins there are also substances like zinc, calcium and iron that are required for appropriate body functions. Often, one will come across supplements that consist of vitamins along with these minerals because they share similar functions in the body.
